Welcome to Nan's Kitchen, the website for Nan's Kitchen jams, preserves and chutneys.

While I was growing up, I spent as much time as possible with my Nan, who was revered within the family as a great cook. I enjoyed the time i spent with my Nan and her cooking in equal measure. She taught me about cooking and gave me my appetite for spending hours in my own kitchen.

In recent years, having ditched our local supermarket, I have tried to source local produce from local Herefordshire producers for my own dinner table and one day I bought a load of blueberries from a local farm shop and decided to have a go at turning them into jam.

It took me a few goes to get it right, but eventually i had created a few pots of jam which i gave to friends, family and the neighbours who were delighted with it.

I am pleased to have recently started to produce jams that I think my Nan would be proud of, all handmade in my own kitchen in Hereford.
